Gender-affirming care restricted for minors

Bans gender-affirming surgery for minors and generally prohibits puberty blockers and hormone therapy, originally allowing a narrow exception for adolescents diagnosed with severe gender dysphoria by two providers. Signed March 29, 2023. SB 299, signed April 30, 2025, eliminated that exception, making the ban near total.
