Impact 5/10
Creates the crime of abortion trafficking, a felony for harboring or transporting a minor within Idaho to obtain an abortion or abortion pills with intent to conceal it from the minor's parents. Signed April 5, 2023. A federal court blocked the law in November 2023, but in December 2024 the Ninth Circuit allowed enforcement of the harboring and transporting provisions while keeping the recruiting provision enjoined as protected speech.
